Obituary for Richard C. Keslo

Richard C. Keslo, age 85 of Ogdensburg, passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2022, at the Newton Medical Center surrounded by family.

Born in Franklin to the late Joseph and Frieda (Carpenter) Keslo, Richard has been a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg. Richard worked as a machinist for the Ames Rubber Corporation in Hamburg for over forty-seven years before retiring in 1998. Richard was a lifetime and exempt member of the Ogdensburg Fire Department. He was also a life member of the NRA, and enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting, fishing, wood-splitting, and just tinkering.

Predeceased by his parents; brother, Joseph Keslo; and sister, Shirley Hardy, Richard is survived by his loving wife of sixty-six years, Katherine (Salza) Keslo; daughter, Deborah George and husband Robert of Woodinville, WA; son, Richard S. Keslo and his fiancé Marlene Herrick of Ogdensburg; four grandchildren, Amy (Matt), Richard Jr. (Rachel), Nicole (Daniel), and Christopher; great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Emmersyn; and nieces JoAnn Banki, Kathy Scymanski, and Laurie Best.

Visitation for Richard will be held on Friday, March 11th, 2022, 4-8PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 12th, 11AM at the Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin.
