Obituary for Jerry N Rimmer Jr.
Jerry N. Rimmer Jr., 60, passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2022. Jerry was born on March 12, 1962 in Warrensburg, Missouri to Jerry N. Rimmer Jr. and Roxanna Feiser Groff. Jerry spent most of his life growing up on Long Beach Island. He graduated from Southern Regional High School in 1980. Jerry worked on the Lori-L and the F. Nelson Blount commercial fishing boats, out of Barnegat Light, NJ. Jerry was a 1985 graduate of the University of Mississippi.
Jerry worked for Weil- McLain. First, as a territory sales representative, where he received salesman of the year twice. Later, Jerry became the Northeast regional manager. Jerry enjoyed hunting and golfing, but his love was coaching his three sons in football and lacrosse. Jerry was an avid fan of Bruce Springsteen and the New York Giants.
Jerry is survived by his three sons, David Rimmer of Colorado, Dalton Rimmer and Jake Rimmer of Vernon, and their mother, Barbara Rimmer, his parents, Roxanne Groff, Jerry N. Rimmer Sr and his wife Wynema and step dad Charles Pennington. His brothers, Todd Rimmer and Ryan Rimmer and sister, Amy Pennington Schulman.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday June 11th from 2-4PM with services at 4PM at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.).
