Obituary for Abigail Maureen Beatty Madden

Abigail Maureen Beatty Madden, age 20 of Hardyston, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 29th, 2022 as the result of a tragic automobile accident.
Born in Newton to Michael and Elizabeth (Beatty) Madden, Abby grew up in Franklin and moved to Hardyston ten years ago.
Abby was a loving and extraordinary daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She lived by the motto “kindness matters.” Abby graduated from Wallkill Valley Regional High School in 2019. As a biomedical engineering student at Rowan University, Abby was president of the charitable fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, which is known for its service to others. She was proud of her engineering internship at Givaudan in Mt Olive. Abby played field hockey, golf, and she enjoyed baking and traveling.
Predeceased by her grandparents, Wilbert and Ruth Beatty and Michael and Margaret Madden, Abby is survived by her loving parents, Michael and Elizabeth “Betsy” Madden; sisters Jessica Stone and her husband Michael, Laura Madden and her fiancé John Saunders, and Emily Madden; nephew Max and niece Ella Stone; uncle John and aunt Darlene Madden and aunt Peggie and uncle George Marano; and cousins Kathryn, Margaret, John, Michael, and Sean. She is also survived by her godparents, Robin and Chris Bruscino, and her beloved and loyal dog, a Cavapoo named Guinness.
Visitation for Abby will be held on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 from 1-5PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, August 8th, 10AM at the Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
