Obituary for Jacqueline M. Howell
Jacqueline M. Howell, 85, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022 at Allendale Senior Living in Allendale NJ. She was loved by all who were privileged to know her.
Jacqueline was born in Brooklyn, NY to Madeline and John Lawless. She was the oldest of three sisters. She lived in Franklin for over 20 years before relocating to Allendale.
Jacqueline was a senior executive secretary for PSE&G for 23 years. She was actively involved in her church, volunteering in the office, participating as an extraordinary Minister, a choir member, and helped fellow congregants with transportation and dinners. Jacqueline volunteered at the county voting polls every election. She also worked at the local Hallmark store for many years where she was a dedicated worker and friend to all.
Jacqueline is the beloved wife of William Howell ( deceased 2021), devoted mother of Jackie Knapp and her husband Mitchell of Franklin Lakes NJ, William E. Howell Jr and his wife, Kathleen of the Villages Florida, and Theresa Donovan of West New York, NJ. She is the adored grandmother of 6 grandchildren and great grandmother to one great grand son.
A private service was held at Immaculate Conception Mausoleum under the direction of F John Ramsey Funeral Home on October 18, 2022. Donations can be made in Jacqueline's memory to Alzheimer's Association or to
Amedisys Hospice Foundation.
