Obituary for John Joseph "Motorcycle Johnny" Veres Jr.
Sandyston Twp., NJ: John Joseph Veres, Jr., 52 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at home. Born to John and Judith Veres in Newton, NJ, he lived in Hardyston Twp., NJ before moving to Sandyston Twp., NJ 33 years ago.
John worked as an electrician with his father in the business, Veres Electrical Service out of Sandyston for many years. John enjoyed fixing, selling and racing motorcycles and was well known among his community as “Motorcycle Johnny”.
John is predeceased by his mother, Judith Veres(2009) and is the beloved son of John J. Veres, Sr. and his fiancée, Florence Watt of Sandyston Twp., NJ. Dear brother of Christie Meyerriecks and her husband, Keith of Milford, PA. Cherished uncle of Alex Marie and her wife, Aja and Devin Nicole.
The family will receive their friends for memorial visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 3-5 PM at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ.. Memorial service to follow at 5PM. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
