Obituary for Cynthia N. Sutphen
Cynthia N. “Cindy” Sutphen, age 62, of Wantage, passed away on Sunday, February 5th, 2023 at the Newton Medical Center.
Born in Glen Ridge to Paul and Carolyn (Lawson) Nielsen, Cindy grew up in Oak Ridge and lived in Vernon, before settling in Wantage seven years ago.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, William Sutphen; children Candice Nielsen Kauffman and Will Nielsen; siblings Eric Nielsen and his wife Jean, Lynn Jurena and her husband John, Marc Spratt and wife Kim, Scott Spratt and wife Stacy, and Suzanne Robertson and husband Jay; and grandchildren Katrina Nielsen, Eric Montanaro, Johnny Kauffman, and Paige Montanaro Radovanovic. She is also survived by her parents, Carol Spratt and Paul Nielsen.
A visitation for Cindy will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 2023, 4-8PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ 07461. A service will take place at 7PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered through www.fergusonfuneralhomesnj.com
