Franklin, NJ: Barbara Jean Truran(nee Mason), 63 years old, passed away after a long illness at Newton Medical Center, Newton, NJ on Sunday, April 9, 2023. Born to Robert and Irene Mason in Eau Claire, WI she has lived in Franklin, NJ since 1994.
Barbara worked as a senior service provider for Franklin Borough for many years. She was an active member of Freedom Church in Oak Ridge, NJ and home schooled her 2 sons till college where they continued their education and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Barbara was a dedicated wife and mother.
Barbara is the beloved wife for 43 years of William “Bill” Truran of Franklin, NJ. Devoted mother of William Truran of Lincoln, NE and Daniel Truran and his wife, Jessica of North Haledon, NJ. Dear sister of John Mason of Eau Claire, WI, Chris Adams and her husband, Jerry of Lancaster, PA, Linda Nelson and her husband, Ron of Kentucky and Judy Nicholson of Allendale, NJ. Cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation services under the direction of F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ. A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will be scheduled for a later date at Freedom Church, 145 Oak Ridge Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.
