Joseph McCormick, 59, passed away peacefully in Orlando, Fla while on vacation on April 25, 2023
Born in Passaic, NJ to Dennis and the late Carol (Tuske), Joe has been a resident of Highland Lakes for the past 24 years. Joe was a self-employed handyman who was a jack of all trades. When not working, Joe could be found playing pool or fishing.
Predeceased by his mother, Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Leslie (Schreiner) McCormick. Cherished father of Stephanie and Jacob and future son-in-law, Scott. Dear son-in-law of Beverly Schreiner. Caring brother-in-law of Jennifer Fallon, Beth van Duzer, Graham Schreiner and Nathan Schreiner. Caring uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joe also leaves behind his beloved pets, 4 dogs, Bear, Lucy, Willow, Mocha and 2 cats, Snoopy and Little Cat.
A memorial visitation for Joe will be held from 4pm-6pm on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, (One Vanderhoof Court for GPS) 241 Route 94, Vernon NJ. Memorial Service follows immediately at 6pm.
