Obituary for James L. Fritz

OBITUARY

Hardyston Twp: James L. Fritz, 80 went home to the Lord Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Newton Medical Center while surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Fritz, son of the late Henry and Margaret (Sisco) Fritz was born in Glen Ridge October 31, 1936. He has been a resident of
Hardyston Twp. for the past 46 years.

Mr. Fritz was a self employed builder having built over 200 homes in Sussex County, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed building furniture for family and friends, and restoring old antique tractors and farm equipment. Jeanette, his wife always said, if something needs to be fixed he could fix it. He was a good friend that was always willing to help.

Mr. Fritz was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, John Fritz and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanette (Bond) Fritz of Hardyston (Sparta); daughters, Cheryl McDermitt & her husband John of Mint Hill, NC, Susan Nash & her husband Chuck of Frankford and Sandra DeLima & her husband Daniel of Augusta; brothers, William Fritz & his wife Viola of Colorado and Thomas Fritz & his wife Mary of Idaho; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice 99 Sparta Ave. Newton, NJ 07860. Private cremation has been entrusted to F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin. For online condolences, please see www.fjohnramseyfuneralhome.com
