Highland Lakes; Cornelia M. Sommers (nee Housel), 86 passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2017. Cornelia was born on March 14, 1930 in the Netherlands, arriving in the United States in 1948 settled in Elmwood Park and later to Highland Lakes.

Cornelia is survived by her daughter, Wendy Nagle, her loving and caring grandsons; Jeremy Nagle of Highland Lakes, Jesse Nagle and his wife Megan of Fair Haven, Cole Nagle of Highland Lakes and Frank Nicastro and his wife Stephanie of Sayreville, and two great grandchildren; Frankie and Madison Nicastro, and a sister, Ursula, and a cousin, Helmut Brach, and her two cats Taboo and Spooky.

Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday February 18th from 11AM to 12:30PM, funeral services at 12:30PM at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.).
