Loretta M. Zuzich (Milner)
Loretta Zuzich, 84, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2015, after a long illness. She was born in 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Angela (nee Zupancic)Milner. She was a longtime resident Hamburg, N.J.
Loretta was Valedictorian in her class at Lourdes Academy in Ohio. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Notre Dame College in Ohio with a degree in Chemistry. Loretta worked for B.F. Goodrich in Ohio as a Chemical Technician. She was the Director of Religious Education at Our Lady of the Lake in Mt. Arlington. Loretta later worked at Allied Signal in Morristown as a chemical analyst in the oximes group.
She was the leader of a 4-H Club in Park Forest, Illinois and in Morris County, N.J. She volunteered for various Church and social organizations and was a volunteer for many years at the Partnership for Social Services Sister Thomasina’s Second Choice Shop in Franklin, N.J.
Loretta was predeceased by her husband Thomas Zuzich and by her daughter Mary Deavenport. She is survived by six of her children: Thomas, Anna, Angela and her husband Ray, Patricia and her husband Steve Sulaver, Irene and her husband David Wilson, and John; her cherished seventeen grandchildren and beloved five great grandchildren; her sister MaryAnn King of Ohio and her many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews and her cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and celebration of her life at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, N.J. on Sunday May 10, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Hamburg, N.J. at 11:00 a.m. on Monday May 11, 2015.
